Connor and his crew were amazing in transforming our home! He is responsive, helpful, and his crew was neat. In 4 months they completely changed our house. Connor was great about me bouncing ideas off of him, giving good feedback of what would work/what I would like functionally in our home. I don’t think we ever would have been able to take on such a big task without the help of Connor and the team at Rowe Construction.

Connor and his team converted a small fourth bedroom into a brand-new bathroom for us in 2023. We were very impressed with how it came out, how respectful and courteous his team was, the speed at which they worked on the (pretty complicated) job, and the coordination with plumbers, electricians, cabinet supplier, etc. Just a great team of hard-working, talented guys, and Connor is really committed to getting stuff done quickly and professionally. Our house is older so it was a complex project to get new pipes to a new part of the house, but they figured it all out and we couldn't be happier with the new bathroom. Connor even worked with us on a late change (adding an A/C duct) we hadn't planned, and we were within the budget throughout. Couldn't recommend Connor more!
Connor has always been a straight shooter with us, and he is responsive when problems arise. In my book, these are the most important qualities in a builder. Last year, we hired Connor to replace our windows. During that process, his crew discovered rot in two places on our 1985 house, and one of them was extensive (all the way to the framing). In both instances, he came to me and showed me the problem, we discussed options, and he made room on his calendar to do what was necessary. The finished work was exceptional, and our house is better for the amount of care and attention he and his crew put into the work. It was a really unpleasant few months, but his workers are courteous and respectful of our space and time. I hope never to have to repeat that experience, but Connor made sure that the unpleasant necessities were handled professionally and respectfully. We were in good hands and I’m glad we had Connor here to make sure everything went as smoothly as possible.
Not only is Connor a consummate professional, he was utterly delightful to work with from start to finish of our complicated renovation. We interviewed several contractors and he was the only one who was undaunted by the highly detailed architectural plans and copious construction notes. Connor was unflappable when changes were requested and they were quickly implemented. The job was completed on time and thoroughly cleaned up. In addition, his team were most pleasant and professional. We were most appreciative that during such an extensive renovation, while we were in residence, the contractor and team worked so hard to make it as easy as possible for us. We couldn’t be more thrilled with the outcome!

Connor did a complete overhaul of my kitchen, laundry room, and mudroom (ok, mud closet). He had to take down the large chimney to give me windows, replace pretty much everything (plumbing, electric, floors, radiators), and put it all back together. I had no idea how complicated it would be when we started and I'm glad I had Connor to steer me through it. Connor pushed hard to get the job done even with the usual surprises and changes so that I could get back to my space and life. He and his crew did a great job.

Connor Rowe was reliable, honest, easy to work with, came out to my house a few times to help me choose a design for a railing for my deck and 30 foot bridge, and has created a beautiful outdoor space with the new railings. He worked efficiently and meticulously, was mindful of my budget, cleaned up at end of every day, and made great suggestions for necessary structural repairs that I appreciated and could trust. Now I have a hand-built, really beautiful cable railing system with gates that creates a whole new outdoor space, blends in perfectly with the surroundings and does not impede the view of Silvermine river at all. The railing is gorgeous, which is not an adjective I ever thought I would use for a deck railing. Next he will build a removable interior stair rail, and he will definitely be my default construction/carpentry/building/anything house-related person from now on."
