Bathroom Remodel in Branchville, CT

In Branchville, CT, we transformed a 30+-year-old bathroom into a more functional and stylish space for a young family with two small children. The original layout was outdated, so we began by removing a window to allow for a complete reconfiguration. This adjustment enabled us to replace the single vanity with a double vanity, providing the family with much-needed counter space and storage.

To maximize functionality, we added recessed medicine cabinets, offering extra storage while maintaining a clean and streamlined appearance. The freestanding tub was replaced with a new wall-to-wall tub, creating a more practical bathing area for the family. We also upgraded to electric radiant floor heating, adding warmth and comfort, especially during colder months.

While the subfloor was open, we discovered that the old cast iron plumbing was compromised, clogged, and leaking. We replaced these outdated pipes with new PVC drain lines, bringing the system up to code and ensuring long-term reliability for the family.

We chose traditional wainscoting on the walls for the design, which lends a classic farmhouse charm to the space. Modern black hardware and fixtures were incorporated to add a contemporary touch, creating a balanced aesthetic that seamlessly blends traditional and modern elements. The result is a beautifully renovated bathroom that not only meets the family’s needs but also enhances the overall appeal of their home.
